Account activity
The Account Activity page allows you to manage your time settings, daily working schedule, and activity quotas to ensure a safe and effective LinkedIn outreach strategy. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the different sections of the Account Activity page and how to customize your settings.
1. Select Time Zone
The first step in configuring your account activity is selecting the correct time zone. This ensures that all your activities, such as sending connection requests and messages, are carried out within the right time frame for your region.
How to Select Your Time Zone:
Click on the drop-down menu under Select Time Zone.
Choose the time zone that matches your current location.
Once selected, all activity scheduling and quotas will be adjusted to align with the selected time zone.
2. Select Working Days
You can customize the days of the week when your outreach activities should occur. This allows you to manage when your automated or scheduled actions (like sending connection requests, follow-ups, and messages) take place.
How to Set Working Days:
Toggle the switches next to each day of the week.
Enable or disable the days when you want the system to perform actions.
Tip: It’s advisable to select weekdays (Monday to Friday) for prospecting, as people are more likely to respond during workdays.
3. Select Working Hours
You can define the specific time range during which your account will perform automated activities such as sending invitations or messages. Setting a proper schedule helps simulate human behavior and avoid LinkedIn restrictions.
**How to Set Working Hours:**
Under Select Working Hours, adjust the start and end times.
Enter the Start Time and End Time according to when you want the activities to begin and end each day.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Tip: It’s recommended to schedule your activities during normal business hours to increase engagement.
4. Edit Your Max Daily Quota
This section lets you manage the maximum number of actions (invitations, messages, and follows) that the platform will perform daily. This helps you stay within LinkedIn’s activity limits and reduces the risk of your account being flagged.
Invitations: Set the maximum number of connection requests you want to send each day.
Messages: Set the number of messages you plan to send to existing or new connections.
Follows: Adjust the number of profiles you want to follow daily.
How to Adjust Quotas:
Enter the desired quota number for each activity type (e.g., Invitations, Messages, Follows).
Click Save next to each quota setting.
Tip: Keep your activity numbers realistic and spread them out over the day. Avoid maxing out all quotas at once to avoid triggering LinkedIn’s safety restrictions.
5. Why Is This Important?
Configuring your account activity settings helps ensure you:
Stay within LinkedIn limits: Avoid sending too many actions that could lead to account restrictions.
Increase Engagement: By scheduling your outreach during optimal hours, you increase the likelihood of getting responses.
Maintain Account Safety: Mimicking human behavior (such as spreading out actions and sticking to normal business hours) protects your LinkedIn account from being flagged as automated.
By fine-tuning your Account Activity settings, you can ensure efficient and safe LinkedIn prospecting. Take advantage of these options to streamline your outreach and maximize your engagement with prospects.
