Creating and Managing Campaigns
Creating and managing campaigns effectively is key to a successful LinkedIn outreach strategy. This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of setting up, launching, and managing your campaigns to maximize engagement with your prospects.
1. Setting Up a Campaign
Step 1: Access the Campaign Dashboard
Once logged into your account, navigate to the Campaigns section from the main dashboard. Here, you’ll find options to create new campaigns, manage existing ones, and view performance metrics.
Step 2: Click "Create Campaign"
To start a new campaign, click the "Create Campaign" button located at the top right corner of the page. You’ll be prompted to select one of the template or check more.
Step 3: Select Campaign Template You Want
Choose between the following outreach methods:
LinkedIn: For automated LinkedIn connection requests, follow-ups, and messages.
Email: For email outreach campaigns, particularly effective in combination with LinkedIn.
Multi-channel (LinkedIn + Email): Combine both methods to ensure a higher engagement rate.
**Note**: if you click on "Check more templates", you will see a popup with all templates that you can filter, and for each one there is a "preview" button. that shows the elements of the template and how it works.
Step 4: Define Campaign Goals
Set clear objectives for your campaign, such as increasing lead generation, securing meetings, or promoting a product. Having defined goals will guide your messaging and follow-up sequences.
2. Select prospects for your campaign
Step 1: Select a list
Step 2: Select all prospects from one list or few prospects.
3. Personalizing Campaign Messages
Step 1: Customize Outreach Messages
To increase the chances of engagement, craft personalized messages using the message editor. You can include:
Variables like first name, last name, and company name.
Step 2: Create Message Templates
Save frequently-used messages as templates. This will save time when setting up future campaigns, and you can still edit them for personalization when needed.
Step 3: Sequence Your Messages
Create a sequence of messages with delays between each step:
Message 1: Initial connection request or outreach.
Message 2: Follow-up after a set number of days if no response.
Message 3: A final message if they haven’t responded.
4. Managing Live Campaigns
Step 1: Pause and Resume Campaigns
If needed, you can pause an active campaign at any time. This might be useful if you need to tweak messaging or pause outreach during holidays or weekends. You can resume the campaign whenever you’re ready.
Step 2: Monitor Campaign Progress
Once your campaign is live, monitor its progress in the Campaign Dashboard. You’ll be able to see key metrics such as:
