Managing Prospect Lists and segmentation
Managing Prospect Lists in Lykoza
The prospect list feature is essential for organizing and managing leads within the Lykoza platform. Lists allow you to categorize your prospects into different segments, which helps in creating targeted outreach strategies. Let’s walk through how to use and manage lists effectively based on the updated dashboard.
1. Understanding the Prospect List Interface
In the dashboard image, the left sidebar contains a Lists section, which allows users to create and manage different prospect lists. Each list corresponds to a specific group of prospects, enabling easy segmentation and management.
- Create New List: The Create button at the top left lets you create a new prospect list. You can name the list based on your targeting criteria (e.g., job title, industry, or region).
- List Options: Each list has a three-dot menu next to it, which offers options such as Update or Delete, letting you edit or remove the list when needed.
2. List Management and Actions
Once you click on a list (e.g., "marketing"), the right side of the screen displays details for the selected list. You can see columns for:
- Name: The prospect’s name, helping you quickly identify individuals in the list.
- Company/Job: Displays the company name or job title for more context.
- Status: Indicates the prospect’s engagement status, such as connected or not.
- Actions: You can perform quick actions for each prospect using the icons:
- Link Icon: View detailed information about the prospect (connected/not connected)
- Message Icon: Check if message is sent to prospect.
- Up Arrow: Move prospect to an other list
- Tag icon: Add a tag to prospect
- Trash Icon: Delete the prospect from the list.
3. Filters and Bulk Actions
At the top of the prospect list, several filter options and bulk actions are available:
- Status: Filter prospects based on their engagement status.
- Tags: Organize prospects with tags for easier grouping.
- LinkedIn Event: Narrow down prospects based on their participation in LinkedIn events.
- LinkedIn Groups: Filter by groups the prospects belong to on LinkedIn.
- Email: Use email-based filters for prospects with specific email engagement.
- Bulk Actions: Select multiple prospects and perform actions such as moving, deleting, or messaging all at once using the buttons above the list.
4. Adding and Updating Lists
To create a new list:
- Click the Create button in the Lists section.
- Give your list a meaningful name that reflects the target audience (e.g., "Sales Managers" or "Marketing Prospects").
To update or delete an existing list:
- Click on the three-dot menu next to the list name, where you can select Update to edit the name or Delete to remove the list.
5. Best Practices for List Management
- Use Descriptive List Names: Always name your lists clearly, based on the group you are targeting (e.g., “Marketing,” “Sales Managers”).
- Leverage Filters: Utilize the filtering options to fine-tune your prospect list and focus on more relevant segments.
- Maintain Updated Lists: Regularly update your lists, ensuring that your prospects are current and aligned with your outreach goals.
- Segment for Targeted Outreach: Create lists based on job titles, industries, or regions to craft personalized and relevant messaging.
By effectively managing your prospect lists in Lykoza, you can optimize your outreach campaigns and maintain a well-organized lead database for efficient prospecting. This feature helps streamline your workflow and ensures you’re reaching out to the right people at the right time.
